Bird in Hand

Bird is made from kiln fired clay. Nest is made from Apoxie Sculpt.

Flowers are polymer clay. Hands are Apoxie Sculpt, Activa Rigid

Wrap and wire.

Woman’s Nest

Torso is made of Activa Rigid Wrap, Apoxie Sculpt, Das Modeling Clay, plaster, wire and paints. Baby is made of polymer clay, liquid polymer clay and powdered pigments. Egg is made of polymer clay, liquid clay and sand. Birds are made of polymer clay. Nest is moss and twigs.

Our Lady of Palustrius (The Pine Tree)

Torso is made of wicker, reed, Das Modeling Clay, seven gourds, a variety of dried plant materials and moss with the primary material being pinecones. Face and hands are made of Cold Porcelain Clay. She was made for the Carolina Mixed Media Art Guild’s annual challenge for the Palustrius Festival in Southern Pines, NC.
